A website for recording enthusiasts and professionals has a review of a new software package put out by a soundtrack company. The package is designed for two types of audio workstations, Live 9 and Maschine. The package has fifteen prepared assignments and 240 samples. It has robust drum sounds. The music style is electronic, or techno pop. A list of the features is supplied. The reviewer gives this software package a rating of eight out of ten. The site has a sampler section available for download.

When recording audio at home, a good quality large-diaphragm condenser (LDC) microphone is eventually something you’ll want. As I say a lot, if you’re just starting out, you can jump into professional level audio with pretty much ANY LDC mic.
